Blackberry efforts to boost sales "closeout" android application








KEPPYUR - BlackBerry cooperating with Amazon to include 240,000 Android smartphones to its services. The surprise move is considered as an attempt to boost sales of the Blackberry continues to decline.

The users that use BlackBerry 10 operating system (OS 10) will be able to access the popular Android apps like Groupon, Netflix, Pinterest, Candy Crush Saga, and Minecraft. The application will be available on the Amazon Appstore in the BlackBerry 10 smartphones, along with the launch of the BlackBerry operating system 10.3.

Such cooperation is believed to be a breakthrough BlackBerry under the leadership of its new CEO, John Chen. Allegedly, the steps taken in an effort to keep pace with the rising of Apple Inc. with its iPhone and Samsung Electronics Co.. worldwide with its Galaxy smartphone series.
In a statement, Chen said he wanted the BlackBerry to survive as a competitor in the smartphone segment. However, an attempt was made to focus on efforts to make the BlackBerry as the dominant force in the inter-device communication midwife.

Chen's statement is not an exaggeration. Until now, the production software BlackBerry, QNX, is still one of the strongest as electronic systems in automotive industry. BlackBerry is still believed by many companies and government agencies to manage and secure mobile devices internal network.
