Now Xiaomi Smartphone Manufacturer World Number 5


Market research agency Strategy Analytics reported smart phone shipments in the second quarter of 2014 to reach 295 million units, growing 27 percent year over year.

Xiaomi Android gadget manufacturers from China, looks so shining as it became the largest smart phone manufacturer fifth largest for the first time.

According to Strategy Analytics, 15.1 million units transmit Xiaomi smartphone in the second quarter of 2014 as demand in the Chinese market. That number increased rapidly over the second quarter of 2013, in which Xiaomi only send 4.1 million units of smart phones.

Director of Strategy Analytics, said Woody Oh, Xiaomi be a "star performer" in the quarter. The company also successfully overtaking LG is now entrenched in the top six.

LG sending 14.5 million units of smartphones in the quarter compared to 12.1 million units in the same period last year. Sales of LG quite well in the United States and Europe, but left in a potentially large markets like China and India.

Still according to data from Strategy Analytics, the first largest smart phone manufacturer is still occupied by Samsung, which successfully sends 74.5 million units. Samsung is the only manufacturer that has decreased since the previous delivery company was sending 76 million units of smartphones in the second quarter of 2013.

Strategy Analytics Executive Director Neil Mawston said, Samsung is now controlled 25 percent of the smart phone market share, from 33 percent in the same period last year.
